Maria Kataniak, aged 73, died on March 30, 2025. She was the late Wladyslaw Kataniak's beloved wife, mother of Mateusz, Dariusz, Marek, and Robert Kataniak, and grandmother of Ksawery, Karol, Piotrek, Alicja, and Kuba. She was the daughter of the late Wanda and Jan Kanty Konieczny and sister of Tadeusz, Alojzy, the late Wladyslaw, the late Anna, and the late Jozef Konieczny.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, with prayers and procession starting at 10:00AM from the funeral home to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton Street, Willow Springs, Illinois for an 11:00AM Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
