Irene D. McGrath, nee Scesnewicz, 82, died on April 8, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late James McGrath and the daughter of the late Adeline and John Scesnewicz. Irene is survived by her brother Arthur Scesnewicz and was predeceased by John, Ray, Alfred, and Edward Scesnewicz. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral will take place on the same day, with prayers starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by a procession to Saint James at Sag Bridge Church in Lemont for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in the Christ the King Mausoleum in Hillside.
