Gail Byers, nee Bray, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond Byers and the cherished mother of Kirk, Teri, Mandy, Danny, and Holly. Gail was also a beloved nana to Nathan, Zoe, Skylar, Savannah, and Bella, and a treasured great-nana to Charlotte, Blake, and Rhett. She is survived by her late parents Alice and Earl Bray, and her siblings Sandra, Jackie, Ricky, Judy, Audrey, Laurie, Lisa, and Bobbi. Gail will be remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, with prayers starting at 10:30 a.m. followed by a procession to Saint Daniel the Prophet Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Cremation rites will follow.
