Court Reporter Turned Bowling Center Manager Christine Marie Pecka Dies at 74

Christine Marie Pecka, of Berwyn, Illinois, passed away on March 26, 2025, in Naperville. Pecka, born on August 3, 1950, dedicated many years to her career as a court reporter before finding fulfillment in managing a bowling center after retirement. Her passions included crocheting, reading, and British TV. Pecka's family and friends will remember her for the love and joy she brought to their lives.

A visitation for Pecka will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Joliet. Cremation rites will be accorded following the church service.
