Vashti De La Rosa, Loving Wife and Mother, Passes Away at 72

Vashti De La Rosa, 72, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Loyola Hospital. Born in Kentucky to Harry and Versie Hensley, Vashti is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Michael De La Rosa. She was a loving mother to Lisa, Vanessa, Michael, and Carmen, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to numerous grandchildren.

A memorial visitation for Vashti will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 3-8 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, with a memorial service to begin at 7 p.m. Cremation rites have been accorded.
