Wayne E. Houston “Pete”, Fondly Remembered Husband and Father, Dies at 89

Wayne E. Houston, known affectionately as “Pete,” age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at his residence in Crest Hill. Survived by his loving wife Margaret Houston, Pete is remembered by his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, with the funeral and interment to follow on Thursday at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
