David A. Peters, Sr., known as Dave to his loved ones, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, at the age of 83. He was surrounded by his family in Burbank, IL, where he spent his final moments. Born on September 16, 1941, in Chicago, IL, Dave's life was marked by unwavering dedication to his family and a warm-hearted nature that brought joy and comfort to all.

Survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Janet Peters, Dave was a cherished father to David Jr. and Eric, and a beloved grandfather to Amber, Steven, Claire, and Sara. His legacy of kindness and generosity will continue through them.

Known for his friendly demeanor and ability to make friends easily, Dave's commitment to service at the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #44, earned him the esteemed honor of Pilgrim of the Fraternity. Colleagues remember his integrity and passion for serving others.

Dave's love for life, family, and his faithful dog, Scrappy, was evident in every moment he spent. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy of love, friendship, and service will endure through the countless lives he touched.
