Effective January 1, 2026, the rates for the Energy Assistance Charge will change for utilities and cooperatives that had at least 100,000 Illinois customers as of January 1, 2021. This adjustment is being made in accordance with Section 13 of the Energy Assistance Act (305 ILCS 20/13).
