Brad Sanicki, aged 74, of Chicago, a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired Lt. C.F.D., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the evening of Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Brad was the beloved husband of the late Paula and a loving father to Geneane Heiser, Shannon Banasiak, and Adam Banasiak. He was a devoted grandfather to Julie Lingle, Sean, and Jacob Heiser, and a dear brother-in-law to Robert, William Hozian, and a fond uncle to Matthew, Kylee, Madison, and Patrick.

Brad's life was marked by service, love, and strong family bonds and friendships. His dedication and courage were exemplified during his time in the United States Navy and the Chicago Fire Department, where he retired as a Lieutenant. His legacy as a Navy veteran and a hero of the Chicago Fire Department reflects his bravery and commitment to helping others.

Brad's unwavering love for his family and friends shone brightly, and he valued every moment spent with them. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his impact will be forever cherished.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Homer Glen. The Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
