Michael J. Bolbat, aged 63, passed away at his home on May 27, 2025. He was the beloved father of Dan Bolbat and Laura Bolbat, grandfather of Dominic Bolbat, Dylan Bolbat, and Baby Bolbat expected in November. Michael was also a dedicated dog dad to Henry and an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael had a passion for spending time on the water, particularly on his boat during Chicago summers. He cherished these moments with his loved ones and friends. Known for his skill in fixing and building, Michael was a master craftsman who could tackle any project with ease.

He was described as having a big heart, a contagious laugh, and a love for life. Michael adored his children, grandchildren, and loyal dog, Henry. His warmth and joyful presence brought light to those around him.
