Lawrence "Larry" Huttel Jr., aged 91, and a U.S. Army Veteran, passed away on May 29, 2025. He was the loving husband of Marilyn and a cherished father to Michael, Debbie, and David. Larry was also a step-father to Debbie Jelley, Robert Walsh, and Susan Makos. He was known as "Pops" to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Larry was remembered as an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a beloved member of his community. Visitation to honor Larry will take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, starting at 12:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge, with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
