Rita Mae Lewicki, aged 89, and the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Lewicki, passed away. She was the loving sister of Walter, Thomas, and Alice Lewicki, and the cherished aunt of Leonard Lewicki, Vida Novickas, Robert Lewicki, and Patricia Jo Lewicki. Rita was also a dear friend of the late Joyce A. Kocol.

Rita dedicated herself as a former teacher at Lincoln School in East Hazel Crest, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of her students and colleagues.

A heartfelt thank you was extended to the caring staff of Bickford Assisted Living and Memory Care of Tinley Park, where Rita resided with dignity and love for almost six years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday starting at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church in Tinley Park, Illinois. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawn Funeral Home (708) 532-3100.
