Władysław "Władek" Galica, 76, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in Oak Lawn, IL, after battling liver cancer. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, with prayers and a procession starting at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Saint Fabian Church in Bridgeview for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice. Galica is survived by his daughter, Monica, son-in-law Denis, granddaughters Ivanka, Adelina, and Daryana, as well as numerous family members and friends.
