Gregory Ernest Lulinski, aged 78, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Manteno, Illinois, surrounded by his wife of nearly 54 years, Carolyn, and daughter Amie Lulinski Norris (Bill). He was the son of the late Ernest and late Caroline Lulinski and brother of late Philip, Thomas, Stanley, the late John, late Pamela, and Mary Ramirez. Greg was uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, a beloved cousin, Sunday school teacher, and known as "Big Ern," "Goober," and "Candyman" to friends and neighbors. He cherished his dogs Princess, Muffin, Thumper, Molly, Belle, Decker, and Beefy.

Born on June 27, 1947, in Chicago, Greg attended Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic School and graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1965. He served as a Radio Teletype Operator in Germany during his time in the U.S. Army and attained a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. After his military service, he met Carolyn at Lake End Sales, subsequently marrying her on October 9, 1971, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

A private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Uplifted Care hospice in honor of Gregory Ernest Lulinski are appreciated.
