Alan T. Kulovitz, 78, of Orland Park, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Lydia (nee Jones) for 32 years and the devoted father of two daughters, Nicole and Michelle Kulovitz. Alan, an Air Force veteran, dedicated 30 years of his life to serving his community as a Lieutenant with the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Department. He was a founding member of the Illinois Tactical Officers Association and a proud graduate of the FBI National Academy, 169th session. Alan's commitment to law enforcement and support for fellow officers through the ITOA left a lasting impact on many.

He will be remembered as a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and a dear cousin to others. Alan enjoyed shooting and photography, excelling as a Master Blaster at the Second Chance pin shoot. His legacy of service, love, and strength will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. On Wednesday, July 16, there will be a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
