Thomas R. Martinez, a veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2025 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Carol Martinez for close to 60 years. Martinez was the son of the late Joseph and Edna Martinez, and the dear son-in-law of the late Joseph and Jennie Micelli. He is survived by siblings Jacqueline, Barbara, Linda, and loving relatives.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the funeral scheduled for Monday, July 21st. The services will take place at Incarnation Catholic Church, located at 5757 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.
