Duane R. Kelly, affectionately known as Kelly, passed away peacefully of natural causes on July 16, 2025, at his home in Summit, Illinois. Born on August 18, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, Duane was a man of character with wisdom, generosity, and handiness that touched the lives of many.

Growing up in a bustling household, Duane shared his childhood with his siblings and was raised by his loving foster parents Boniface and Mary Sanchez. He is survived by his sisters Kelly Michael, Michelle Sanchez, Valerie Sanchez Lucco, Lisa Sanchez, and Marjorie Wolfe. Duane's legacy lives on through his children, Nicole Groves, Jimmy Kelly, and Stacey Kelly, along with his cherished grandchildren.

A proud graduate of Argo Community High School, Kelly's passion for demolition and stock car racing was a true reflection of his adventurous spirit and enjoyment of life. Renowned for his handiness and generosity, Duane was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the values of wisdom, generosity, and adaptability.

Duane R. "Kelly" Kelly's life was one of purpose, passion, and unforgettable moments shared with loved ones. Though he has crossed the finish line of his earthly journey, his legacy of wisdom and compassion lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Rest in peace, Kelly, your spirit and memory will continue to inspire us all.
