Maggie Sumrall (nee Lombardo), aged 61, of Mokena, Illinois, passed away suddenly on July 16, 2025. She was the beloved wife of David Sumrall and the loving mother of Mary Catherine and David. Maggie was the devoted daughter of the late Stephan and late MaryAnn (James Corcoran) Lombardo and dear sister of Lisa Beyer, MaryAnn Griggs, and Andrea Griggs. She was also a cherished sister-in-law and had a special bond with her nieces and nephews.

Maggie will be deeply missed by her family, cousins, nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and all who knew her, as she was known for her warm and friendly nature. She valued her friendships greatly, making everyone feel welcome and loved in her presence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards breast cancer research or the American Heart Association.

Visitation to pay respects to Maggie will take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Hickey Memorial Chapel located at 2100 Calistoga Dr. in New Lenox, Illinois. Maggie will be remembered for the love she shared and the friendships she cherished throughout her life.
