Eldene L. "Ellie" Doff, nee Frieling, age 97, peacefully passed away on July 14, 2025, joining her late husband Herman in eternal rest. She was the cherished mother of Deborah, Michael "Mick," and grandmother of many, great-grandmother of eight.

As a founding member of Calvary Church of Orland Park, Eldene's faith was paramount in her life. Loved by many at Smith Crossing, she was known for her kind and gentle spirit.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on July 18, 2025, at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
