Henry Luther Vanick, aged 87 and a US Army Veteran, peacefully departed this life on July 16, 2025, with his family by his side. For 65 beautiful years, he was the beloved husband of the late Josephine Vanick.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Lillian and Louis Vanick, Henry leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his four children, Debbie (Cesar) Dovalina, Arthur (Tammy) Vanick, Kerry (Chris) Vihnanek, and Kristen Vanick. He was also a caring uncle to Renee (Ed) Grube and Edward (Donna) Vanick. Renowned for his craftsmanship as a butcher and former owner of Henri's Finer Foods in Burbank for over 35 years, Henry was an active member of the Burbank Sertoma.

A devoted member of the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Henry cherished every moment spent with his family, either at home in Oak Lawn or at their lake house in Indiana. His favorite pastimes included apple picking, fishing, road trips, cooking, baking, and playing with his dog, Lola. His greatest joy was having his family and friends around him.
