In his personal life, Gene was a loving husband to his late wives, Dolores and Colleen, and a devoted father to his late son, Eugene Jr. His family meant everything to him, and his compassionate nature and unwavering support were evident in his actions. Gene had a special bond with his cherished dog, Dolly, highlighting his kind-heartedness and love for animals.
Gene's life was one of honor and service, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and community spirit.
