Roman Wojcik, known for his unwavering faith, hard work, and devotion to his family, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Lombard, IL, due to heart failure. Born on January 1, 1944, in Poland, Roman migrated to the United States, where he established a loving family and deep roots. Survived by his devoted wife, Chestina, proud sons Jerry and Bogie, granddaughter Alexa, and beloved nieces Bogumila Czaplinski and Regina Stopa.

Fondly called Roman by those who cherished him, he was a man of deep faith and wisdom, exemplifying love, diligence, and family commitment. After completing his education and high school, Roman ventured into a successful career as a mechanic, eventually owning a machine shop renowned for his expertise, entrepreneurial flair, integrity, and kindness.

Roman's devout faith was central to his being, guiding his interactions and daily life. Often providing guidance and support, he was revered within his Catholic community as a beacon of hope and wisdom. Alongside his faith and work, Roman harbored a passion for gardening, finding solace and joy in nurturing his garden—a reflection of his vibrant soul and meticulous care.

Having touched many lives, Roman will be remembered for his love, resilience, and grace in facing challenges with gratitude and joys with humility. As a man of strong beliefs and values, his legacy of love and guidance will continue to inspire his family and community. A shining example of faith, dedication, and kindness, Roman will forever hold a cherished place in the hearts of those he touched.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois, followed by a funeral service at Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission in Willow Springs on July 29, 2025, and interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. Roman Wojcik's memory will endure as a testament to his profound impact on the lives he touched, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication.
