Raleigh, NC - Louise Valia Mandarino, 101 years old, passed away on August 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 15, 1924, in Scontrone, Italy, to Giovanni and Gelsomina Tiritilli, Louise's grace and dignity shone through every facet of her life.

She epitomized class, radiating a sense of elegance with impeccable style and beautiful jewelry that mirrored her own inner beauty. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angelo Mandarino, and her brother, Julio Tiritilli, Louise is survived by her son Angelo Mandarino (Joan Welborn) and her grandchildren, Vincent, Alyssa, and Paula Mandarino.

Visitation to honor Louise's life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Lack and Sons Funeral Home in Hickory Hills. The funeral prayers will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by Mass at 10 A.M. at St. Patricia Church. Louise will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Raphael Catholic Church in Raleigh, NC, in Louise's memory. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Our Promise Care Senior Home for their loving care during Louise's final years.
