Richard J. Wodka, a US Army Veteran, passed away. He was the devoted husband of the late Elizabeth, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Richard was the loving father of Timothy and Terilyn, and the proud Papa of Marleh, Riley, Trey, Lauren, Matthew, David, Michael, and Catherine. He was also a beloved brother and brother-in-law. Richard was drafted into the St. Louis Cardinals Organization right after high school before joining the Army. He was known for his passion for Chicago sports and horse racing, as well as his sense of humor and gift for writing custom birthday poems for his family. Visitation will be on September 19, 2025, with the funeral on September 20, 2025, at Most Holy Redeemer Church. The entombment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
