Orland Park - Carol S. Thompson (nee Moriarty), 88, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late James W. Thompson Sr. and loving mother of Marla Garbarczyk, Paula Daliege, James Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson, and the late Lora Contorno. Carol was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to a large family. She leaves behind a cherished memory for her family and will be missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Orland Park. The funeral service will take place on Friday at 9:00 a.m., with a Mass following at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church. Interment will be at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
