Democrat Michael Frerichs has been declared the winner in the Illinois State Treasurer's race against Republican Jim Dodge.
With 69 percent of the precincts reporting, Frerichs, the incumbent, had 59 percent of the vote with a total of 1,863,374 votes.
Dodge received 38 percent of the vote with a total of 1,211,337 votes.
