Margo McDermed of the Republican Party has been declared the winner in the House District 37 race against Democrat Matthew Hunt.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, McDermed had 58 percent of the vote with a total of 26,822 votes.
Hunt received 42 percent of the vote with a total of 19,177 votes.
