Illinois landed in the top 10 in a recent study by WalletHub that looked at the state economies most impacted by COVID-19.
The study examined how the virus has affected each state's industries and workforce, along with the resources available in each state to better help businesses cope with the crisis.
Out of an overall score of 100, Illinois received a score of 48.94, according to the personal finance website.
