DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- A rising force in American public discourse has refreshed its brand under "Restoration of America" as it heads into a critical election in our nation's history.
Originally known as Restoration PAC and Restoration Action when Illinois entrepreneur and former U.S. Senate candidate Doug Truax formed it in 2015, Restoration of America now includes a constellation of entities standing firm against America's turn toward woke Marxism and fealty to Communist China.
"Our country is headed down a dark path and we need to stand in the breach and fight back," Truax said. "Organizing our groups ahead of the November midterms is part of that strategy."
In its brief existence, Truax has built Restoration of America from scratch into one of the most effective political, educational, and election integrity forces in the United States. Truax has always led the organization without compensation.
Restoration of America includes the following entities, with a new website, logos, and branding:
- Restoration PAC -- is a non-partisan political action committee that engages in political activities, advocates for policy changes and/or the election or defeat of candidates on the basis of time-tested conservative principles.
- Restoration Action -- is a 501(c)(4) organization that promotes and advocates for policies that are rooted in the Founding principles of our nation.
- Foundation for the Restoration of America -- is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educating Americans that the principles of our nation’s Founding should continue to serve as the foundation for our future and that we need to restore those principles in our government and society.
- Voter Reference Foundation -- is dedicated to ensuring transparent, accurate and fair elections in the United States of America. The foundation is staffed by former election officials who understand the data and the process. The purpose is to provide public access to official government data pertaining to elections, including voter registration rolls, with a goal of encouraging greater voter participation in all 50 states.
- Fair Courts America -- is dedicated to preserving the Founders’ intent that the judicial branch of government renders equal justice under the law.

Restoration PAC first emerged on the national stage in the 2016 presidential election with a definitive timeline TV ad criticizing Hillary Clinton for her Benghazi untruths. Restoration PAC also produced a memorable TV ad in 2020 noting Joe Biden’s history of lying. The PAC has also been involved in numerous U.S. Senate and other races.
The Voter Reference Foundation and its VoteRef.com website is the first large-scale effort in U.S. history to publish public voter rolls for all 50 states.
Concerning Restoration of America’s new logo, it depicts the American flag facing rightward, indicating movement, mirroring U.S. military protocol, and ideological direction. Truax is a West Point and Army Ranger School graduate and Army veteran.
