Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission Human Rights Authority, North Suburban Region met June 7.

Call to Order:
Chairperson, Teri Steinberg, called the regular monthly meeting of the Human Rights Authority, North Suburban Region, to order at 5:05 p.m.
Members Present:, Adell Crump, Teri Steinberg, Mark Johnson, David Rubin
Members Absent/Excused: Pat Getchell, Maralea Negron, Maria Reher, Christy Neal-Garcia, Staff Present: Mariah Balaban, North Sub HRA Disability Rights Manager (DRM)
Guests:
Jayme Crooks, prospective HRA board member
The Chair noted that a quorum was not present and that only certain business could be conducted. DRM Mariah Balaban read the confidentiality statement.
Changes in the Agenda:
No changes were made to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes:
Since a quorum was not present, the minutes for April 26, 2022 could not be voted on.
New Business:
A. New Complaints
1) 22-100-9017 (Elgin Mental Health Center) – Member Crump motioned to accept this case, Chair Steinberg seconded, and the motion carried.
2) 22-100-9018 (Elgin Mental Health Center) - Member Rubin motioned to accept this case, Member Johnson seconded, and the motion carried.
3) 22-100-9019 (Linden Oaks Behavioral Health) - Member Crump motioned to accept this case, Member Rubin seconded, and the motion carried.
4) 22-100-9020 (Evanston Hospital Psychiatric Unit) - Member Johnson motioned to accept this case, Member Rubin seconded, and the motion carried.
