Mötley Crüe is set to headline the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on August 10, as announced by fair officials. The band, originating from Los Angeles, has been a significant presence in the rock music scene for over four decades. Their achievements include selling more than 100 million albums globally and earning multiple platinum certifications in the United States.
Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager, expressed enthusiasm about the band's upcoming performance: "Fans have been waiting for a rock addition to the Illinois State Fair Grandstand lineup," she said. "Mötley Crüe puts on a legendary live performance, and we are so excited to bring these rock icons to Springfield."
The band has completed a two-year stadium tour worldwide and continues to perform with John 5 on guitar. They have achieved over 5 billion streams across digital platforms and maintain a strong social media presence with over 8 million followers.
Tickets for Mötley Crüe's performance will be available starting March 2 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $88 to $165, with an additional $30 Pre-Show Party ticket option available for all paid concerts.
