The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has announced that the red tag blind drawing for the Quincy Bay Waterfowl Management Area will be held on Saturday, October 19. The event is scheduled to take place at the department's district office located at 1252 W. Washington St. in Pittsfield.
Participants are required to register starting at 10 a.m., with the drawing set to commence at noon. To be eligible for participation, applicants must provide specific documentation during registration. This includes either a 2023 or 2024 regular Illinois hunting license—apprentice and youth licenses will not be accepted unless accompanied by hunter safety certification—a 2023 or 2024 Illinois Migratory Waterfowl Stamp, unless exempted by law, and valid photo identification.
