Municipal motor fuel tax rate changes announced for Cook County

As authorized by the Municipal Motor Fuel Tax Law, 65 ILCS 5/8-11-2.3, a municipality in Cook County will implement changes to its Municipal Motor Fuel Tax rate starting January 1, 2025. This adjustment will affect sales of motor fuel at retail within the municipality.
