Christopher Lawrence Walsh | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Bourbonnais - Christopher (Chris) Lawrence Walsh, 56, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 23. Born on June 6, 1968, in Kankakee to Lawrence and Rita (LeClaire) Walsh, Chris worked as a Fabrication Welder and found joy in various activities such as cheering for all Chicago sports teams, biking, gardening, and quality time with his family. Known for his passion for cooking, enjoying a cold drink, and always offering a helping hand, Chris will be dearly remembered.

Survived by his six sisters and their partners: Sister Jackie Walsh, OSB, of Rock Island, Laura Chapa of Westmont, Lisa (Rick) Nelson of Elmhurst, Sue (Tom) Chavez of Elmhurst, Mary (Bruce) Kato of Austin, Texas, Angie (John) Bradshaw of Washington, D.C.; and brother Tim Walsh of Kankakee, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Rita Walsh, sister Brenda Noe, and nephew Brandon Walsh.

For those wishing to honor Chris's memory with a donation, the family suggests the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
