Mildred L. "Millie" Blanchette | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais
Mildred L. "Millie" Blanchette, 86, of Bourbonnais, passed away at home on November 4, 2024. She was known for her dedication as a farmer's wife and homemaker, working on the family farm with her late husband Henry Blanchette. A committed Cub Scout den mother and CCD teacher, Millie enjoyed bowling, card games, puzzles, and gardening. She was actively involved at St. George Catholic Church where she volunteered. Survivors include her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and extended family. Visitation will be on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with a funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at St. George Catholic Church, followed by interment at St. George Cemetery. Donations may be made to charitable organizations in Millie's memory.
