Sales figures for adult-use cannabis in October 2024 have been released, showing a total of 4,160,706 items sold. In-state resident sales amounted to $111,507,438.58, while out-of-state resident sales reached $30,744,265.43. The overall sales total for the month was $142,251,704.01.
The data indicates that cannabis sales have experienced fluctuations throughout the year. For instance, January recorded 3,551,727 items sold with a total revenue of $133,787,753.89. In contrast, March saw an increase in both items sold and total revenue with 4,048,897 items and $148,872,065.12 respectively.
Throughout the months leading up to October 2024, variations in sales figures are evident as well. August had a higher number of items sold at 4,285,598 compared to September's 3,999,904 items sold. However September’s total revenue was lower than August's at $136,508866.78 against $14739173303 respectively.
The monthly data also provides insights into consumer behavior across different states with varying levels of participation from in-state versus out-of-state residents contributing to the overall financial performance each month.
