Carol Yvonne Wheeler | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Carol Yvonne Wheeler, 59, of Kankakee, passed away on November 18, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on June 17, 1965 in Chicago Heights to Aaron and Margaret (Otier) Wheeler, Carol was the youngest of fourteen siblings.

Carol's kind and loving nature touched many lives during her time at KCTC. She enjoyed WWE Wrestling, bowling, dancing, scary movies, and had a special love for music, especially for J LO. Carol also cherished dining out with her family, indulging in Oberweis, and spending time with her beloved pet, Hope.

A parishioner at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais, Carol is survived by eight siblings, Ann (Tony) Renzi, Mary (Kearn) Hinchman, Therese (Bernie) Pitz, Jean Wheeler, Greg (Cheryl) Wheeler, Larry (Sue) Wheeler, Pat Wheeler, Edward Wheeler, and Trish Whiteside, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Margaret Wheeler, and five brothers, Tom, Mick, Joe, John, and Jim Wheeler.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with Deacon Patrick Skelly officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Memorial contributions may be made to KCTC, River Valley Special Recreation, Uplifted Care, or St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.
