Bourbonnais, IL — Doris J. Robbins (nee Groleski), aged 97, of Bourbonnais, formerly of Peotone, passed away on November 12, 2024, at Bourbonnais Grove Assisted Living, surrounded by her loving family. Doris is survived by her children Stephen (Brenda) Gallagher and Debbie Robbins, daughter-in-law Pamela Gallagher, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Doris, a farmer's wife throughout her life, dedicated herself to every aspect of farming alongside her husband. A devoted member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wilton Center, Doris found immense joy in spending time with her family. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed card games, traveling, baking, and cherished moments with loved ones.

Preceded in death by her parents Anton and Lillian Groleski, husbands Francis Gallagher and Gerald Robbins, sons Lawrence Gallagher and Daniel Gallagher Sr., and other family members, Doris had a significant impact on those around her. She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to family and her farm.

Visitation for Doris will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the next day, November 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Deacon Milt Leppert, at the same location. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Patrick Cemetery in Wilton Center, Wilton Twp.
