Born in Bloomfield, IA in 1923, Lola moved to Chicago in 1944 where she met and married Maurice in 1945. Known as "Short" and "Moose" to each other, they cherished a loving marriage. Lola was a welcoming presence in the lives of many, always ready for conversations about football, Democratic politics, and her famous deviled eggs and chocolate chip cookies. She had a special bond with her granddaughters, attending their concerts and games, celebrating milestones with them.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park, IL, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at Mt.
