Erling Ouwerkerk, a vibrant spirit known for her global explorations as a travel agent, passed away at 85. She is survived by her children Ragnar Ouwerkerk and Desiree Overzet, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Curacao, Erling and her late husband Louis P. Ouwerkerk embarked on a new journey by immigrating to Chicago. Described as warm and adventurous, she will be dearly missed. The memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Orland Park Christian Reformed Church. More details are available on Colonial Chapel's website.
