Karen E. Abrams | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport
Karen E. Abrams, 79, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in Lockport. A lifelong resident and graduate of Lockport High School, she retired as a teacher from Lemont Public Schools. An active member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lemont, Karen participated in various sports and was a dedicated Chicago sports fan, particularly of the White Sox. She was a proud member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Honor Society and had a passion for 4H. Karen is survived by her sister, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, along with many cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthew Church or a charity of choice. Visitation to be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at O'Neil Funeral Home, followed by services at St. Matthew Church on Tuesday, with interment at Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates in Lemont.
