Sara Nicole Lewis-Armstrong, aged 45, of Carbon Hill, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born on September 22, 1979, in Joliet, IL, Sara attended the Apostolic Christian Church of Coal City and had a career history spanning different responsibilities at locations like Dairy Queen, Mainline Video, and Chicago Aerosol. She married Joseph Armstrong on July 7, 2007, at the Braidwood Recreation Club in Braidwood.

Survived by her husband Joe, mother Kelly Lewis, sister Deborah Duha, maternal grandmother Judith Stafford, father-in-law Thomas Armstrong, mother-in-law Madonna Willis, brothers-in-law Timothy and Charlie Armstrong, and nieces and nephews among extended family members. Preceding her in death were her father Terry Lewis, sister Stefanie Lewis, and maternal grandfather William Stafford. Cremation rites have been honored, with memorial visitation to be held at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, December 6, 2024, and a memorial service to follow. Inurnment will be private. In support and respect, memorial donations may be directed to the family to assist with expenses in lieu of flowers.
