Virginia A. Matheu, aged 80, of Palos Park, Illinois, passed away on December 1, 2024. Born on January 25, 1944, Virginia was the devoted wife of Joseph for 60 years and the beloved mother of Catherine, James, and Robert. She was the cherished grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Virginia enjoyed gardening, baking, caring for her grandchildren, reading, traveling, and entertaining. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Virginia was preceded in death by her siblings Joan, Irene, and Stanley.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Orland Funeral Home, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church. The interment will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
