Janice L. "Jan" Clavey Dies at 72; Remembered for Community Service Contributions

Janice L. "Jan" Clavey, a dedicated community volunteer and retired Grundy County Sheriff Department employee, passed away at her home in Mazon, Illinois, on December 10, 2024, two days before her 73rd birthday. Survived by her husband Ron, daughter Kristen, and grandchildren among others, Clavey's commitment to service and nurturing spirit made a lasting impact on those around her. A memorial gathering will be held on December 22 at the American Legion in Mazon.
