Jean M. Dinnocenzo, 95, of Park Forest, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. She is survived by her children, Jerry Dinnocenzo, Jim Dinnocenzo, and Jody Indovina, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean, known affectionately as "Rock," had been a resident of Park Forest since 1952. She dedicated 29 years teaching 2nd Grade at St. Mary Catholic School in the area. Jean was a devoted reader and a fan of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank and Helen Rock, and her husband James Dinnocenzo.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, located at 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of prayers at 11:00 a.m. The service will continue to St. Mary's Catholic Church at 227 Monee Road, Park Forest, IL 60466, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. A private interment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Steger, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital Chicago would be greatly appreciated.
