Theodore “Ted” W. Pankow, 93, formerly of Orland Park and Willow Springs, peacefully passed away on February 5, 2025. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, providing his services in Intelligence. Ted was a dedicated alum of Argo High School and a member of the IIT Class of 1954. His professional career included positions at Corn Products and Best Foods in Argo.

Ted had a profound love for outdoor activities. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed spending time in nature. Golfing was another one of his passions. A member of the Willow Springs Rod and Gun Club, Ted's connection to nature was a central part of his life. An unwavering fan of the Illini, Ted cherished moments watching their games and refused any interruption during those times. However, nothing compared to the joy he found while fishing with his children.

He is survived by his loving companion, Michealine “Mickey” Dorywalski, and his children: Gregory (Barbara) Pankow, Marian (James) Walles, Karen (Michael) Morgenroth, Brian (Catherine) Pankow, Susan (Jon) Raymond, and Jeffrey (Marianne) Pankow.
