Brandon M. Tauer, 40, of New Lenox, husband of Shauna (nee Richardson) and father of Blake Tauer, Tyler Smith, and Aubrey Tauer, peacefully passed away. He was the beloved son of Thomas and Christina Tauer, grandson of the late Edward and Irene Tauer, and the late Anthony and Virginia Lombardi, and dear brother of Joseph and Gina Tauer. Brandon was the son-in-law of Kyle and Margie Richardson and Joyce Harader, and brother-in-law of James Triggs, Samantha Raymond, Jennifer, and Sarah Richardson. He was a loving uncle to Lucas, Troy, Arianna Tauer, Chase Kunstman, Kylen Harris, Magnolia, and Talia Triggs.

Known for his charismatic personality, Brandon was loved by all who knew him. He was an enthusiastic fan of football, particularly the Indianapolis Colts. A talented pitcher, Brandon excelled in baseball during his time at Lemont High School, Joliet Junior College, and Robert Morris College. His interests also included UFC, music, cars, golf, and the Jersey Shore.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. in Lemont from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will take place on Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Alphonsus Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family's GoFundMe Page would be appreciated.
