Francis V. “Frank” Duffy, of East Liverpool and formerly of the Chicago area, peacefully passed away at Crossroads at Beaver Creek after a brief illness at the age of 99. Born on February 23, 1925, in East Liverpool to the late Frank Patrick Duffy and Harriet Green Duffy, Frank graduated from East Liverpool High School and obtained a business degree from The Ohio State University, later pursuing accounting studies at Roosevelt University. A proud U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Orland Park, Illinois. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine R. Duffy, in 2005.

Survived by nieces, nephews, and close cousins, a funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Eric M. Edwards of St. John Lutheran Church at Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., with visitation an hour before the service. A wake and service will also be held at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois, on Saturday, February 8th. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens, South, Oak Lawn, Illinois.
