Norma Jean Dowjotas | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Lockport - Norma Jean Dowjotas, 63, of Lockport, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Born in Hazel Crest, raised in Orland Park, and a resident of Lockport since 1987, Norma spent many loyal years working as a waitress at Anthony's Pancake House in Lockport. She had a deep passion for animals and took great joy in caring for them. Norma will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Ruth Bulthuis, one sister, Barbara Pauls, a nephew Brad Pauls, and a niece Brandi Pauls. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Anthony "Tony" Dowjotas; three sons, Tony, Joseph, and John Dowjotas; two grandchildren, Vivian and Rylee Dowjotas, as well as two grandchildren on the way; siblings Pamela Savona, Wayne Bulthuis, Richard Bulthuis, Brian Bulthuis, Donald Bulthuis, and John Bulthuis; niece Brittany Brock, nephew Brian Pauls, and many more nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel, 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. Following the service, cremation rites will be respectfully addressed.
