Orland Park, IL - Anthony J. “Tony” Zambuto Sr., age 94, a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict, passed away on February 16, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 72 years to Frances “Fran” (nee Giuliana) Zambuto.

Tony was the devoted father of Sal Sr. (Pam) and the late Tony (Wanda), and the cherished grandfather of Sal Jr. (Theresa) and Christine (Anthony) Ramirez. He took pride in being the proud great-grandfather of Lily, Logan, and Parker.

He was the fond brother of Dominic (Joyce), the late Charles (late Irene), Lena (late John) Grillo, the late Angeline (late Tony) Rugone, Salvatore (late Stella), John (Elvira), Mary (late Francis) Tully, Joe Spiri, and Sam Spiri. Tony was known as a kind uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Tony was a member of the 4th Degree St. Wendelin Council 12841 Knights of Columbus of Shannon, IL.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-8 p.m., followed by the funeral on Friday at 11:15 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park. The Mass will be at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 12:00 p.m., with a link available just prior to the Mass. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
